Tanzania is one
of the developing countries facing the shortage of medical equipments especially
in rural hospitals. The shortage has led to several problems including death of
pregnant women and children.
The shortage of
medical equipments exposes the health of patients into dangerous condition as
shown on the above picture pregnant women in one of the government hospital maternity
ward located in Dare s salaam lie on the floor due to lack of beds.
Broken
ambulances pose one of the major challenges to health care especially in rural
hospitals and lead to improper time treatment and some time causing death to
patients; as we celebrate WORLD HEALTH DAY today, let’s join hands with all
stakeholders and seek for permanent solution in order to save lives.
